With a Master’s in Human Science in Conflict Studies from the University of St. Paul and the University of Ottawa, Suhrob has a profound understanding of conflict resolution, mediation, and social justice. His academic background, combined with years of high-level government service, uniquely positions him to provide strategic guidance on complex governance, institutional reforms, and socio-political issues.

Prior to joining KIP, Suhrob held key positions in the Office of the President of Afghanistan, serving as Deputy Chief of Staff, Special Aide, and Technical Secretary. In these roles, he was instrumental in shaping national policies, facilitating high-level decision-making, and engaging with diverse stakeholders to advance governance priorities. His leadership extended to managing strategic initiatives such as institutionalizing youth engagement platforms, fostering cross-sector collaborations, and overseeing policy coordination at the highest levels of government.

Suhrob’s expertise spans monitoring and evaluation, impact assessments, media monitoring, and public policy development. His ability to conduct in-depth political power analysis and scenario planning has made him a trusted advisor for international development organizations, governmental bodies, and private sector entities operating in Afghanistan. His tenure as Deputy Head of Dr. Ashraf Ghani’s Presidential Campaign also reflects his deep insights into electoral strategies, public opinion research, and grassroots mobilization.

Recognized for his contributions to national development, he received the High State Medal of Mir Masjeedi Khan and the High State Medal of Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan from the President of Afghanistan for his work in governance and youth engagement.

Holding an MBA in Finance and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, Younas is also a certified ACCA member. His leadership background includes serving as Chief Finance Officer of Da Afghanistan Bank, where he played a pivotal role in implementing International Financial Reporting Standards, including IFRS 9, and leading major financial and investment reforms. His work included close collaboration with Deloitte and other major audit firms on accounting reconciliation, statutory audits, and banking projects.

Beyond banking, Younas contributed to the telecommunications, energy, and manufacturing sectors as a gap-assessment expert. He helped identify and resolve financial and operational challenges, supported formulation of the telecom-sector strategic plan for ATRA, and collaborated with the International Telecommunication Union on industry-wide procedures. His expertise also includes forensic accounting investigations, internal controls, risk management, due diligence, and digital payment systems.

Younas has served as a board member for institutions including CPA Afghanistan, Afghanistan Payment System, and the Eco Trade and Development Bank in Istanbul. He also served on the Da Afghanistan Bank Investment Committee, contributing to stronger financial governance and audit reporting.

Khosraw Anwari is a seasoned financial management and project governance expert with over nine years of experience in financial oversight, donor coordination, strategic planning, and public-sector modernization. As a Senior Consultant at KIP Consulting Services, he provides specialized advisory services to international organizations, drawing on expertise in fiscal policy, revenue optimization, donor relations, and project implementation in fragile and transitioning economies.

Khosraw holds an MBA in Financial Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the University of Pune, India. His background in financial planning, project execution, and institutional reform makes him a strong resource for organizations seeking efficient, transparent, and data-driven governance.

Before joining KIP Consulting Services, Khosraw served as Director of Operations at Afghanistan’s Ministry of Finance, where he oversaw modernization of customs revenue systems across 28 border points. His leadership in implementing ASYCUDA across central and provincial customs contributed to a significant increase in revenue generation, streamlined cross-border trade processes, and supported anti-corruption measures.

As Director of Donor Coordination at the Ministry of Finance, Khosraw led high-profile international engagements, including the Senior Officials Meeting, Joint Coordination and Monitoring Board, and the 2018 Geneva Conference on Afghanistan. He helped facilitate implementation of National Priority Programs and supported budget monitoring, donor negotiations, and national development planning.

His private-sector experience includes work as Project Coordinator for ATCO Industry Groups in Texas, where he managed cost analysis, quality control, and operational efficiency for supply-chain projects. Meer Ahmad Yaad is a media, communications, and digital marketing expert with extensive experience in strategic public affairs, content development, translation, and digital engagement. As a Senior Consultant at KIP Consulting Services, he provides specialized advisory services in media strategy, digital outreach, SEO, and multilingual content development.

Meer holds an MBA from Bakhtar University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Maiwand University. With more than a decade of experience in broadcast media, journalism, content production, and digital strategy, he is recognized for developing communication campaigns, producing high-quality media content, and implementing data-driven digital marketing solutions.

Before joining KIP, Meer served as Media Director at the Office of Public and Strategic Affairs of the President of Afghanistan, where he led public-relations initiatives, managed government communications, and oversaw digital outreach campaigns. Previously, he headed the Translation Department in the same office, supervising government translations, policy documents, and strategic messaging in multiple languages.

His media background includes work as a producer and presenter at Shamshad TV and Spinghar Radio, as a writer and producer for BBC/AEP, and as an editor for Dunya Daily and Parmakhtag Website. He has also worked as a freelance translator and copywriter on government, media, and corporate projects. He is proficient in Pashto, Farsi, Urdu, English, and Spanish.

Meer’s professional certifications include Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google Digital Academy, Advanced Search Engine Optimization from Simplilearn, The Strategy of Content Marketing from the University of California, Davis, and Digital Marketing and Web Development from Tecon Group in Spain.

Shabana Dawran is a renowned journalist, media strategist, and communications expert with extensive experience in broadcast journalism, media production, content coordination, and strategic public affairs. As a Senior Consultant at KIP Consulting Services, she advises on media engagement, public relations, multilingual content development, and digital outreach.

Shabana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mashaal University and has more than a decade of experience in radio, television, and digital journalism.

Before joining KIP, she served as Media Coordination Manager at the Office of Public and Strategic Affairs of the President of Afghanistan, leading media-engagement strategies, coordinating public messaging, and managing government-media relations. She also worked as a morning-show presenter at Afghanistan National Television and Ariana Radio and Television, and as a producer and presenter at Shamshad TV and Zhwandoon Radio and Television.

Shabana founded and coordinated content for Parmakhtag Web, a platform focused on news analysis, social commentary, and public discourse. She is fluent in Pashto and Dari, has strong proficiency in English and Urdu, and working knowledge of Spanish.

Neelab Asekzai is a legal expert, governance specialist, and women’s-rights advocate with extensive experience in policy advisory, legal drafting, event management, and youth engagement. As a Senior Consultant at KIP Consulting Services, she provides strategic guidance on legal frameworks, public administration, human rights, and institutional reform.

Neelab holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Kardan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Kabul University. She also holds an advocacy license from the Afghanistan Independent Bar Association.

Before joining KIP, Neelab served in several roles within the Office of the President of Afghanistan. These included General Manager for the Children’s Tour of ARG, Event Manager in the Presidential Protocol Office, Event Manager for the Special Assistance Unit of the President, and Legal and Policy Expert in the Administrative Office of the President. Her work included educational programs for young people, high-level event coordination, nationwide youth-engagement initiatives, legal analysis, and policy recommendations.

Neelab also worked with Afghanistan Justice Organization as a Program Assistant and Defender of Women’s Rights, conducting legal research, policy analysis, and training programs to improve access to justice. Her research and corporate experience includes Integrity Watch Afghanistan, Roshan Telecommunication Company, and RIA Law Firm.

At KIP Consulting Services, Neelab specializes in legal advisory, governance reform, women’s empowerment, inclusive policy, human rights, and institutional development. Meena Majidi is an accomplished governance and legal expert with extensive experience in public administration, policy advisory, legal analysis, and humanitarian project management. As a Senior Consultant at KIP Consulting Services, she advises international organizations on governance, legal frameworks, project management, and sustainable implementation in complex environments.

Meena holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Kabul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science from Kardan University. She received a USWDP scholarship for outstanding performance in the Master’s degree entrance examination.

With more than five years of experience in senior government roles, Meena worked closely with the former President of Afghanistan. As Program Specialist in the Office of the Chief of Staff, she supported program evaluation, stakeholder coordination, and policy implementation. As Deputy Special Assistant to the President for Programs, she managed youth consultation, strategic reporting, and engagement initiatives. She also served as a Legal Analyst in the Administrative Office of the President, providing guidance on major projects and procedural reform.

Her public-service contributions were recognized through Presidential Appreciation Letters. Following Afghanistan’s political transition, Meena moved to the private sector and became involved in managing UN-funded humanitarian-aid projects, coordinating implementation, aid distribution, and engagement with international partners.
